Disney World Isn’t Just for Kids

Many people think that they might have outgrown Walt Disney World the day they were no longer interested in Princesses or Pirates.  Some think that the only things Disney has to offer guests are baby rides and character signings.  But the fact is that Walt Disney World accommodates all ages, offering fun for the whole family.  Tired of the Flying Dumbo ride and Tea Cups? Take a trip to Hollywood Studios where the thrill rides for the most daring park-goers are located.  The Tower of Terror has been terrifying guests for years as it stands thirteen stories tall, casting a dark shadow on the park.  Visitors can hear the screams from the parking lot as riders are plummeted to the ground in an elevator only to be yanked back up to the top floor to drop again.  If you don’t like that stomach dropping feeling, this ride is not for you.

If you enjoy speed and loud music, check out the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster just around the corner from the Tower of Terror.  Here you can rock out to the famous music of Aerosmith while going zero to sixty in 2.8 seconds.  The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is the second fastest ride in all of Disney World.  The first is the Test Track, located in Epcot.  On this ride, guests can see what it’s like to be a crash dummy and test out the brakes on their “sim-cars.”  Racing around the track, the cars reach speeds of up to sixty-five miles per hour, making Test Track the fastest ride in Disney history.
