Disney’s Extra Magic Hours
Guests looking to maximize their time at the parks should look into Walt Disney World’s extended hours each week. Visitors staying on Walt Disney property at select hotels will be able to access certain parks one hour early, before the park opens, and stay late one night each week. All you have to do is have your Key to the World card – which is given upon check-in at your hotel – to access the park early or to stay late. Make sure to ask the concierge at your hotel which parks are offering the extended hours each day so that you can plan accordingly. These hours change each week and depend on the season and time of year.
Disney’s Extra Magic Hours offer guests who have limited time to spend on their vacation more time in the park. Many visitors will find that lines become shorter during these extended hours, as only guests staying on Disney property can access the parks at this time. Families with little kids may like to take advantage of the early morning extra hour before the crowds arrive. Groups travelling with older children or adults looking to stay out late will love that they can enjoy their favorite parks until as late as midnight sometimes! Experienced Disney park-goers know that at night, when many people are gathering to watch the firework shows or night parades, the lines for the rides drastically reduce, making it the perfect time to ride. These extended hours offer guests more time for their money!
