Disney’s Main Street Electrical Parade
Are you planning a Disney vacation with little ones? Worried that there won’t be enough entertainment targeted to their age group? Don’t worry; Walt Disney World Resort has a variety of attractions for people of all ages. Disney’s Main Street Electrical Parade is a 20-minute long parade the entire family will love.
Disney’s Main Street Electrical Parade is held in the Magic Kingdom Park and travels from Frontierland to Liberty square, before heading down Main Street, U.S.A. The parade is performed in the evening and is outdoors. When you reach Walt Disney World Resort, be sure to check the park’s Time Guide so you will know what time the parade starts and if there have been any time changes or cancellations.
Disney’s Main Street Electrical Parade is beautiful when viewed at night. With a dark background, the lights stand out brilliantly on the parade floats. The magic really comes to life when you see the lights synched up to the musical parade. The parade features many lovable Disney characters like: Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio, Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and many more. So if you didn’t get a chance to see some of Disney’s beloved characters throughout your day in the park, you’ll have another chance to see them in the parade.
The parade generally takes place twice a night. Once at 9:00 pm and again at 11:00 pm. If your little ones can’t wait until it is completely dark, be sure to catch a good spot before the parade starts at 9:00 pm; otherwise, try to catch the 11:00 pm parade where the lighting effects will be more pronounced.
